How to delete Youtube Watch History?

I want to remove videos from my YouTube watch history, either completely or selectively, but I’m not sure of the exact steps. Can someone explain how to delete YouTube watch history on different devices and whether clearing it affects recommendations or account settings?

On Desktop (Web Browser)​

1. Go to YouTube and sign in.
2. Click on the three lines (☰) menu in the top-left corner.
3. Select History.
4. You’ll see your watch history.
   To delete individual videos: Click “X” next to a video.
   To clear all watch history: Click “Clear all watch history”.

On Mobile App (iOS/Android)​

1. Open the YouTube app and sign in.
2. Tap Library.
3. Tap History.
4. Delete individual videos: Tap the three dots next to a video → Remove from watch history.
5. Clear all history/pause history: Tap your profile picture → Settings → History & Privacy →

To delete YouTube watch history, sign in to your account, go to History, select Watch history, click Clear all watch history, and confirm. You can also delete individual videos or pause history from settings.

To delete YouTube watch history, open the YouTube app or website, tap your profile picture, and go to Settings > History & privacy. Select Clear watch history. You can also manage or auto-delete history through Google My Activity for more control.
