How to Set Up iPad Kid Mode for Safe Use?

I’m looking for the best way to set up an ipad kid for safe and controlled use. What settings should parents enable to manage screen time, block inappropriate content, and control app downloads? Are there built-in features on the iPad that make it more child-friendly, or do parents need extra tools? I’d love to know what works best for keeping an iPad secure while still being useful and fun for kids.

To set up iPad Kid Mode, go to Settings → Screen Time → Turn On Screen Time, then enable Content & Privacy Restrictions. Set app limits, block inappropriate content, and use Guided Access to lock the iPad to a single app for safer, child-friendly use.

Set up iPad Kid Mode using Screen Time. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Turn On Screen Time > This is My Child’s iPad. Set app limits, content restrictions, and downtime. You can also enable Guided Access to lock the iPad to one app for safer use.
