How to turn off Parental Control?

I’m looking for clear steps on how to turn off parental control on a device or account. The settings can be confusing, and I’m not sure where to start or what permissions are required. Does the process depend on the device, operating system, or account type? I’d appreciate a simple explanation of how people usually disable parental controls safely and correctly without affecting other settings.

To turn off Parental Controls, go to your device Settings. On iPhone or iPad, open Screen Time, tap your name or the child’s profile, then select Turn Off Screen Time and enter the Screen Time passcode. On other devices, disable controls from the family or account settings.

To turn off Parental Controls on an iPhone or iPad, open Settings > Screen Time. Tap Turn Off Screen Time and enter the Screen Time passcode. For Android, go to Settings > Digital Wellbeing & Parental Controls, select the child’s profile, and disable restrictions. This removes app limits, content filters, and other parental restrictions.
