What does cap mean in Slang?

In slang, “cap” means to lie or exaggerate. If someone says “that’s cap,” they mean it’s not true. When people say “no cap,” they’re emphasising honesty—basically “I’m not lying.” The term is common on social media, in texting, and in hip-hop culture.
