I’ve heard people use the word “bop” a lot when talking about songs, but I’m not totally sure what it means. Is it just another way of saying a song is good, or does it have a more specific meaning? I’ve also seen it used in different contexts online, so I’m wondering if it can mean different things depending on how it’s used. Can someone explain what a “bop” is?

It is normally used by people to refer to fast-moving music that they like such as That new track is a bop! It is applicable to any genre provided that the song is entertaining, lively, and catchy.
