I’ve noticed my teen using the term FOMO in messages and posts, and I’m not completely sure what FOMO meaning is. From the context, it seems related to feeling left out, but I’d like a clearer explanation. Can someone explain what FOMO meaning stands for and how kids typically use it online? Is it just casual slang, or can it sometimes relate to peer pressure or anxiety? I’d appreciate some insight from other parents.
