Rednote is basically a social/content-sharing app (similar to TikTok/Instagram) where users post short videos, images, and lifestyle content, and like any such platform it can expose kids to strangers or inappropriate posts, so parents should treat it like other social apps, keep accounts private, turn off location sharing, limit screen time, and have regular chats about what they’re seeing and who they interact with; I’d also suggest checking the app occasionally (not spying, just staying aware) because that balance usually works better than strict bans.
