Will GTA 6 be on PC or only consoles at launch?

My child is excited about Grand Theft Auto VI and keeps asking whether it will be available on PC. Can someone explain if GTA 6 is officially coming to PC and whether it will release at the same time as the console versions? I’d also like to know why Rockstar Games sometimes delays PC releases and what parents should know about the game’s mature content and age rating before allowing teens to play it.

Grand Theft Auto VI is officially launching first on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, with no PC version confirmed for launch day. Rockstar is following its usual “console first” strategy

GTA 6 will not be on PC at launch according to recent statements from Take-Two’s CEO. A PC release is still expected later, but Rockstar has not announced a date yet.

Right now, GTA 6 is confirmed only for consoles at launch — specifically PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. PC players will likely have to wait months or even longer, similar to GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2.

Rockstar has not said “never” to PC, but they also have not included PC in the launch platforms. Most reports suggest the game will release on consoles first and arrive on PC later.

Many fans on Reddit believe GTA 6 will eventually come to PC, but not on day one. Some expect a late 2027 or 2028 PC release based on Rockstar’s past release patterns.

GTA 6 is launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S only. Rockstar has not announced a PC version for launch, although many expect it to arrive later based on Rockstar's past releases

At launch, Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to release only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar Games has not announced a PC version for the launch date.

Based on Rockstar's history, a PC release is possible later. Previous titles such as Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 launched on consoles first and arrived on PC months or even years afterward.
