I’m trying to figure out how to delete an account from Google Chrome on my device. I want to remove a signed-in Google account so it doesn’t sync data or show up anymore. I’m a bit confused about whether I need to remove it from Chrome settings or from the system itself. Can someone guide me with simple steps to delete account from Google Chrome safely?

I followed the steps in the post to delete my Google account from Google Chrome and it worked like a charm, but I wanted to add that after deleting the account, you'll need to manually remove any remaining data stored on your device, such as browsing history and cookies, by going to chrome://settings/ and selecting 'Advanced' then 'Clear browsing data'. It's a good idea to do this to ensure your data is fully removed.

To remove an account from Google Chrome:
Open Chrome → profile icon → “Manage profiles” → select your profile → click three dots → “Delete.”

To remove a Google account from your device: go to Settings → Accounts → Google → Remove account.

To completely remove an account from Google Chrome, open Google Chrome, go to your profile icon in the top right corner, click Manage profiles, select the profile that you want to remove, click on three dots, and then Delete. This will remove local browsing data from your device. To completely remove your online data, go to myaccount.google.com, go to Data & Privacy, and delete your Google account.

To remove your account from Google Chrome, open Settings, click your profile, and select “Sign out” or “Turn off sync.” Then go to “Manage profiles,” choose your profile, and click “Delete.” This removes your account and local data from the browser. To fully delete the Google account itself, visit Google Account settings online.
