I’ve been having trouble with my phone’s GPS not working properly. It either shows the wrong location or takes forever to update, especially when using maps or ride apps. I’ve tried restarting my phone, but the issue still continues. Does anyone know how to fix GPS not working or what might be causing it? Any simple steps or settings I should check would really help.

If your GPS isn’t working, try turning location services off and back on, then restart your phone. Make sure location is set to High Accuracy and that Wi-Fi or mobile data is enabled. You can also open Google Maps and calibrate the GPS by moving your phone in a figure-8. If it still doesn’t work, clear the Maps app cache or update your device.

To fix GPS not working on your phone, start by turning location services off and on again. Restart your device and ensure GPS or “Location” is enabled in settings. Switch to high-accuracy mode if available. Check for app permissions and update your apps and system. Go outside for a clear signal, and disable battery saver if it restricts GPS performance.

To fix GPS not working: turn on Location/High Accuracy, restart your phone, update apps/OS, check app permissions, toggle Airplane Mode, and if needed, reset network settings.

Try these quick fixes:
  1. Turn Location off & on
  2. Restart your phone
  3. Set location mode to High accuracy
  4. Check app permissions (allow location)
  5. Turn on Wi-Fi + Bluetooth (helps accuracy)
  6. Update your phone/software
  7. Reset location settings

If your phone’s GPS isn’t working, try these quick fixes:
  • Turn Location ON/OFF: Go to Settings → Location and toggle it
  • Restart your phone: Fixes temporary glitches
  • Enable High Accuracy mode: Improves GPS signal
  • Check app permissions: Make sure apps can access location
  • Turn on Wi-Fi & mobile data: Helps GPS work faster
  • Update your phone/software: Fixes bugs
  • Calibrate GPS: Move your phone in a figure-8 motion
