Hi everyone, I’m trying to understand how to know if someone blocked you on iMessage. My teen mentioned that their messages are not going to a friend, and I’m unsure how this works. Are there clear signs that indicate a block, like message status or delivery notifications? I just want to better understand the situation and how iMessage handles blocked contacts. To know if someone blocked you on iMessage, look for a few common signs. First, your messages will still send, but you won’t see the “Delivered” or “Read” status underneath them. Second, if you try calling through FaceTime or regular phone calls, they may go straight to voicemail. Also, their profile photo or contact updates may no longer appear. However, these signs aren’t 100% proof network issues, Do Not Disturb mode, or phone settings can cause similar behavior. There’s no official notification when someone blocks you, so you can only rely on these indirect clues.
