How to Lock your Screen on iPad?

I’m trying to figure out how to lock your screen on ipad properly and want to make sure I’m doing it the right way. Is there a quick method using buttons, or does it need to be set up through settings first? Also, does the process change depending on the iPad model or iOS version? Any simple steps or tips to lock the screen quickly and securely would be really helpful.

To lock your screen on an iPad, press the Top (Power) button once to turn off the display. To prevent changes or limit access, you can enable Screen Time or use Guided Access by going to Settings → Accessibility → Guided Access, then triple-click the Top button to lock the screen within an app.

To lock your screen on an iPad, press the Top (Power) button once. This instantly turns off the display and locks the device. To unlock it again, press the Top button and use Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. You can also set Auto-Lock in Settings > Display & Brightness.
