Is Twin Peaks appropriate for kids to watch?

My child recently asked about a show called Twin Peaks, and I’m not familiar with it. Can someone explain what Twin Peaks is about and whether it’s suitable for kids or teens? I’d like to understand the type of content it has and if parents should be cautious before allowing their children to watch it.

Twin Peaks is not appropriate for children. The show contains supernatural horror, violent scenes, drug abuse, and sexual innuendos. It should be strictly kept for adolescents and adults because of its dark psychological elements.

Twin Peaks is a mystery drama which is characterized by its dark themes, violence, and complicated plot. It contains shocking scenes, adult material, and psychological aspects that can be offensive to underage children and younger teenagers. This program is not suitable for children. Parents are not to let children watch it, but they are better off choosing the more age-appropriate shows with less problematic and more understandable content.
