Should I enable Find My Samsung on my child’s device?

I’m setting up parental controls on my child’s Samsung phone. Is it recommended to enable Find My Samsung by default, and are there any privacy concerns I should consider?

Enabling Find My Mobile on your child’s device can be a good idea. It helps you locate the phone, lock it remotely, or erase data if it’s lost. Just make sure your child understands it’s for safety, not spying, and talk openly about how it’s used.

I'd recommend enabling Find My Device on your child's Samsung device, but with some caveats. Set a strong lock screen password or PIN, and consider setting up a parental control system to monitor and limit their online activity. This way, you can locate their device if it's lost, while also protecting their digital safety.

Yes. Enabling Find My Samsung on your child’s device helps you locate it, lock it, or erase data remotely, which improves safety and protects personal information if the phone is lost or stolen.
