I keep seeing “ETA” in texts, emails, and social media, but I’m not sure what it actually stands for. Can someone explain the meaning of ETA and give examples of how it’s commonly used in conversations or online? I want to understand it properly so I don’t get confused next time I see it.

ETA means Estimated Time of Arrival. It tells when someone or something is expected to arrive. People use it in travel, deliveries, and daily chats. For example, “My ETA is 5 PM” means you expect to arrive at 5 PM. It’s common in navigation apps, shipping updates, and text messages.

ETA stands for Estimated Time of Arrival. It’s commonly used in travel, delivery, and messaging to indicate when someone or something is expected to arrive. For example, a driver might text, “My ETA is 5 PM.” Businesses like Uber and Amazon show ETAs for rides and packages. It helps people plan and manage time efficiently.
