I’ve seen people use the term glazing in slang on TikTok and in gaming chats, and I’m confused about what it actually means. Is it supposed to describe someone hyping another person too much, or does it have a different meaning depending on context? Can someone explain what does glazing mean slang and give a few examples of how it’s used?

“Glazing” in slang means overly praising or hyping someone up in an exaggerated way. It’s often used online to tease someone for complimenting a person too much, especially a celebrity or influencer. Depending on tone, it can be playful joking or mild criticism of excessive admiration.
