I recently heard about Kik and I’m trying to understand what it’s used for. From what I’ve read, it’s a messaging app that lets users send text messages, photos, videos, and join public chat groups. Unlike some other apps, it doesn’t always require a phone number and people can connect using usernames instead. How popular is Kik today, and is it safe for teenagers to use? Are there any privacy or safety concerns that parents should know about?
