My child misplaced their phone at school, and someone suggested using Find My Device. I’m not very familiar with it. Can parents use Find My Device to track a lost phone easily, and does it require special settings beforehand?

However, many phones allow remote tracking or location sharing through their respective manufacturer's services, such as Find My iPhone for iOS devices or Google's Find My Device for Android."
