How can I lock my iPhone apps?

I’m looking for a way to lock my iPhone apps so that no one else can open them without permission. Is there a built-in feature that allows you to add a password, Face ID, or Touch ID to specific apps? I’d prefer not to download third-party apps unless necessary. Can someone explain the best and safest way to lock apps on an iPhone?

You can lock iPhone apps using Screen Time:
  1. Go to Settings > Screen Time.
  2. Tap App Limits > Add Limit.
  3. Select the app you want to lock.
  4. Set the time limit to 1 minute.
  5. Turn on Block at End of Limit.
After 1 minute of use, the app will lock and require your Screen Time passcode to open it again.

Screen Time can be used to lock apps in your iPhone. Open Settings, then Screen Time, then App Limits. Set a limit on the category of the app or the particular app and the time to one minute. Enable “Block at End of Limit.” Face ID can also be used to unlock some applications such as Notes or banking applications by customizing the application security setting.

You can lock iPhone apps using Screen Time. Go to Settings > Screen Time > App Limits, choose the app category or specific app, and set a time limit with a passcode. When the limit is reached, the app locks. You can also use Face ID or Touch ID for added security.

To lock apps on an iPhone, use Screen Time. Go to Settings → Screen Time → App Limits, choose an app, set a time limit (like 1 minute), and create a passcode. After the limit is reached, the app locks and requires the passcode. You can also use Face ID for supported apps like banking apps.
