I set up Screen Time on my child’s iPhone a while ago, but now I need to update the passcode and I’m not sure how to do it. Can someone explain how to change screen time passcode step by step? I want to make sure parental controls stay secure and easy to manage.

To change the Screen Time passcode on your child's iPhone, go to the Settings app and tap on Screen Time, then select Change Screen Time Passcode. You'll be prompted to enter the current passcode, so make sure you have that handy. Once you've entered the current passcode, you can set a new one, and you'll also be asked to create a recovery password in case you forget the new passcode. It's a pretty straightforward process, and you can do it all from your child's iPhone, so you don't need to worry about accessing their device or using a computer to make the changes.

Open Settings on your iPhone, tap Screen Time, select your child’s name, tap Change Screen Time Passcode, authenticate, then enter and confirm a new passcode using your Apple ID credentials.
