How to Disable Private Browsing on iPhone?

I’m trying to figure out how to disable Private Browsing on iPhone so my child can’t use incognito mode in Safari. I want to make sure browsing history isn’t hidden, and that web activity can be monitored properly. Is there a way to disable Private Browsing on iPhone through Screen Time or parental control settings? If someone has done this before, could you share the exact steps? I’d really appreciate clear guidance.

Hi there, to disable private browsing on your iPhone, go to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data. Then, toggle off 'Prevent Cross-Site Tracking' and 'Block All Cookies' in the same Safari settings. This should allow you to view your browsing history and track preferences.

To turn off the Private Browsing feature in an iPhone, selecting the Safari application, clicking the tabs button (two squares), and clicking the options of the iPhone as normal to turn the browsing back to the default mode. Tap on a normal tab group and then tap on Done. To turn off all of Private Browsing, in the Settings, Screen Time, Content & Privacy Restrictions, Content Restrictions, Web Content, select Limit Adult Websites, and this will turn off Private mode.

Open Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → Content Restrictions → Web Content, then select Limit Adult Websites.

This removes the Private option in Safari. You can also exit Private mode directly in Safari by switching to regular tabs.
