How to factory reset iPhone?

I’m planning to factory reset my iPhone but want to make sure I do it correctly. What are the exact steps to reset it to default settings? Also, will it delete everything like photos, apps, and Apple ID data? Do I need to back up my data before resetting? If anyone has done this recently, please share a simple guide and any precautions to take.

To factory reset your iPhone, go to Settings > General > Reset. Tap 'Erase All Content and Settings' and enter your Apple ID password to disable Activation Lock. Then, tap 'Erase Now' from the bottom of the screen. Be sure to back up your data beforehand, as this process will delete all content and settings.
