How to restart iPhone?

My iPhone has been acting a bit slow, so I want to restart it but I’m not sure of the exact steps since different models seem to work differently. How do you restart newer iPhones without a home button compared to older ones? Also, is there a way to force restart if the screen is frozen? Looking for simple step-by-step instructions.

• Face ID models: Hold Side + Volume → slide off → hold Side to turn on
• Home button models: Hold Power → slide off → press Power again

To restart an iPhone with Face ID, hold the side button and either volume button, then drag the slider. For older models, hold the side/top button to slide. If frozen, force restart by pressing and releasing Volume Up, then Volume Down, and holding the side button until the logo appears.
