What is Google Password Manager and is it safe to use?

I’ve been using a Google Password Manager but I’m not sure if it’s the best or safest option. It automatically saves and fills my passwords, which is convenient, but I’m wondering how secure it actually is. Can it be hacked, or are my passwords fully encrypted? Also, are there any downsides compared to other password managers? Would love to hear real experiences and whether it’s worth relying on long-term.

Google Password Manager is a tool by Google that saves and autofills your passwords in Chrome and Android. Yes, it's generally safe, using encryption and security alerts. Just make sure to enable 2-factor authentication (2FA), since your Google account protects all your saved passwords
