How to Turn Off Vanish Mode on Instagram?

I accidentally turned on vanish mode in Instagram DMs and now I’m not sure how to disable it. I know it’s supposed to make messages disappear after they’re seen, but I want to switch back to regular chat mode. Can someone explain the steps to turn off vanish mode, and any tips if the feature isn’t showing up or working as expected? It would be great to have a clear, step-by-step guide.

To turn off Vanish Mode on Instagram, open the chat where it’s enabled and swipe up from the bottom of the screen again. The chat will return to normal, and messages will no longer disappear.

To turn off Vanish Mode on Instagram, open the chat where it’s enabled. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen again until you see “Vanish Mode off.” Vanish Mode automatically turns off when you close the chat. You can also disable disappearing messages by avoiding the swipe-up gesture in chat
