How Can I Set Up Parental Controls on the YouTube Music App?

My child recently started using the YouTube Music app, and I’m trying to figure out how to make it more age-appropriate. I’m concerned about explicit songs, suggested content, and account settings. Does the YouTube Music app have built-in parental controls, or do I need to adjust settings through Google Family Link or the device itself? If anyone has already set this up, I’d really appreciate some guidance on the safest way to manage it.

Use Google Family Link: create a child account → link it to your device → open Family Link → select your child → tap Controls → choose Content restrictions → set music filters (explicit content off). This limits what they can play on YouTube Music.
